What is left when we have taken everything away? For a trapeze artist, the answer is formulated as follows: an apparatus, a body, air and gravity… It doesn’t seem like much but it is inexhaustible: the apparatus becomes a vehicle to be driven and tamed, the body is metamorphosed and played. of its weight as of its lightness, agile and powerful all together, while the air is constantly modulated in infinite variations according to the agitation of the particles.
Chloé Moglia was born in Perpignan. She grew up in the world of ceramics, fed by the interaction of earth, water and fire. She learnt trapeze at the CNAC, and the martial arts with Jean-Michel Chomet. In 2009, she took a new way and founded Rhizome in Brittany, integrating her practice of the martial arts in her artistic thinking and her confrontation to the void became another way of experimentation. This confrontation generates meaning and offers silent questions forming the basis of her shows and performances.
