ONE SHOT # is an improvised, site-specific wandering performance lasting around one hour. Led by five jugglers and accompanied by a musician the piece takes the audience on a guided journey through the city, in search of the imperceptible and the poetry hidden beneath asphalt.

Inspired by museum guided tours, ONE SHOT # détournes their codes to create a singular experience. The performers act simultaneously as guides and as artworks, leading the group through streets, squares and unexpected locations. Each performance is unrepeatable: the route, the rhythm and the encounters are shaped by the urban context and by what emerges in the moment.

In this moving scenography, the city becomes the stage, passers-by become accidental extras, and juggling functions as a physical language capable of revealing textures, rhythms and tensions within the urban environment.

In ONE SHOT #, the city becomes the scenography, passers-by become accidental participants, and reality itself is revealed in its raw, poetic dimension. By leaving the traditional circus ring behind, the performance reclaims public space as a place of attention, risk and shared presence, where the ordinary is made visible, and the unnoticed is brought to light.

Collectif Protocole is a contemporary circus collective based in France, composed of five jugglers and one juggler-performer who share a common object: the white juggling club. Since 2011, the collective has explored juggling through instant composition and long-duration performances in public space, creating site- specific works where circus, music and visual arts meet.
