The Emerging Artists Programme is supported by

One of the key directions of the ConTempo festival is supporting emerging performing arts creators and encouraging them to experiment and explore new forms of theatre. It is a space where contemporary theatre is shaped – speaking about the present and inviting a living dialogue with its audience.
From the very first edition of the festival, we have aimed to create an environment for experimentation. Here, artists are encouraged to step beyond familiar boundaries, work in non-traditional spaces, and build close, sometimes unexpected connections with audiences. The programme brings together creators at different stages of their careers: some are taking their first steps, while others have already gained international recognition. All of them are given the opportunity to grow by working with mentors, performing arts professionals from Lithuania and abroad who help them deepen their creative and professional practice.
The programme is supported by the festival partner Baltisches Haus, which believes that culture and the arts foster meaningful social change and contribute to a more mature, creative, and open-minded society.
